PHOENIX INTERNAL DOSSIER
CLASSIFIED – OMEGA-TIER ACCESS ONLY
DO NOT TRANSMIT – DO NOT REPLICATE – DESTROY AFTER REVIEW
THREAT ASSET DESIGNATION: REAPER – TYPE I
ALTERNATE DESIGNATION: VINDICTOR UNIT
PHOENIX CODE: XA-119R
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
REAPER UNITS are biomechanical hunter-killers recovered or reconstructed from post-human remains. Current research suggests the earliest units were created through a Phoenix initiative (PROJECT: HADES-VIOLET) to augment battlefield remains for reconnaissance, denial, and counter-insurgency operations. Most known Reapers were deployed in and around abandoned or quarantined Phoenix sites during the Final Phase of the Continuity War.
STRUCTURE:
Physical Dimensions: Approx. 2.1m tall, 60-70kg
Tissue Composition: Partial organic decay overlaid with nano-bonded combat polymers
Skeletal Integrity: Reinforced via endostructural alloy mesh
Ocular Systems: Compound electro-optics with microfluidic targeting—
Emits centralized blue glow
Capable of EM spectrum tracking, thermal imaging, low-light hunting
Locomotion: Digitigrade-enhanced, silent step capability
Cognition: No centralized AI; operates via swarm logic and spatial threat parsing; reacts to non-verbal cues
COMBAT CAPABILITIES:
Coordinated via triangulated unit formations ("Stalk Tridents")
Talons (5 per hand) hardened to surgical-grade mono-blade
Fast-response neural routing allows for simultaneous engagement of multiple hostiles
Immune to psychological deterrents, environmental stress, and most pain responses
Known to execute flanking maneuvers, pincer traps, and cooperative killbox strategies
Confirmed to kill targets within 2.8 seconds of primary contact (avg.)
VULNERABILITIES:
Primary Weakness: Central eye core – damage to either eye results in immediate loss of balance and coordination
Secondary Weakness: Cervical spine – decapitation or complete severance of neck connection terminates function
RECOMMENDED COUNTERMEASURES:
Engage only with elite personnel or Operarius units
Target ocular zones at close range with blade, slug, or directed energy
Do NOT attempt to capture for study—Reapers emit corrosive payload on death in some models
Avoid travel in groups of fewer than three while in active Reaper territory
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Holographic records from the Gridiron AI suggest Reapers were never meant to be autonomous
Several variants have been reported exhibiting vocal mimicry and luring behavior
One unconfirmed encounter (TRINITY ARCHIVUM / FILE REDACTED) described a Reaper "speaking" directly to an Erebus operative
